Description
Permaloc
PermaStrip is a rigid, L-shaped
aluminum maintenance strip specifically designed to make straight
runs bordering buildings, fences and other maintenance problem areas.
Landscape
edging is flexible to form curves in planting and bedding areas.
When installed in a straight line edging these products become wavy
looking unsightly. PermaStrip eliminates this problem by utilizing
an L-shape for rigidity along straight runs.
Permaloc
PermaStrip is made out of heavy-duty aluminum and is available
in an 1/8" or 3/16" thickness and 3-1/2" height.
PermaStrip
comes in 16' and 8' sections. 16' sections are designed specifically
for straight runs, while 8' sections include V-notches in the base
allowing for gentle curves.
Finishes
available include: Mill (natural aluminum) or Black DuraFlex
(electrostatically applied, baked on paint).
PermaStrip
is anchored with 12" heavy-duty aluminum stakes. 16' sections
include 8 stakes and 8' sections include 3 stakes.
The
sections are connected using Permaloc's unique sliding connection
system eliminating any possibility of separation.

Architects
tell us that maintenance strips are one problem area that can
detract from the clean architectural appearance of a structure or
project faster than any other.
The
realities are that wood, plastic and even metal landscape edgings
are designed to be installed adjacent to aggregate material.
PermaStrip
allows the aggregate material to be installed over top of the
horizontal base resulting in an integrated installation.
Traditional
landscape edgings are designed to be flexible for most landscape
applications, looking wavy as a maintenance strip. Any of these
products leave the architecture and project looking unsightly requiring
high levels of maintenance.
PermaStrip
is easy to install in perfectly straight runs or gentle curves
and is designed to stay that way over the lifetime of the project.

Stakes:
(8) 12" (30.5cm) aluminum stakes are included with each 16'-0"
section. (3) 12" (30.5cm) aluminum stakes are included with
each 8'-0" section.
Stakes
