Permaloc Takes Part In Home For Wounded Soldier
Permaloc was proud to take part in building a home for Cpl Josh Hoffman, a Marine that was injured in Iraq. Â The new house, with handicapped features to assist Hoffman who is now in a wheelchair, was sponsored by Homes For Troups, a non-profit organization committed to helping soldiers that return home with serious disabilities or injuries.

Hoffman was injured on January 6th, 2007 while on patrol in the streets of Fallujah, Iraq.  He was leading a group of men on foot, pursuing an insurgent with a rocket propelled grenade.  Josh was the only Marine injured, and spent the next 20 months in a hospital far away from home, friends, and family.
Prior to being deployed to Iraq with his National Guard unit, Josh was an employee at Signature Landscape in Alto, MI – a long time Permaloc Customer. Â When Signature approached Permaloc about participating in the project, there was no hesitation. Â Permaloc was proud to take part in the building of the home for Hoffman.
